The Annual Conference is one of the major events of EMBA Programme of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The theme of the Conference held on 18th November 2006 was “The Essence of the New-Century Leader: Self-Refinement and Beyond”. From the Confucians’ perspective, self-refinement is the starting point of all kinds of improvement. Enterprises will progress after the individuals accomplish refining themselves. The society will subsequently benefit from these refinements and the world will be in harmony.
Six eminent speakers, who are all prominent in their respective fields, were invited to share their vision, mission and experience in the Conference:
